cohost is kaput.

I've felt strangely at peace this morning. Not just regarding cohost, but in general. Not sure why, but I'll take it.

Happy October, everybody. Now that I'm not counting down to the end of days, maybe I can properly enjoy spooky season.

Fall has always been my favorite time of year, despite often struggling with seasonal depression. I can't stand the heat, so the cooling air is always such a relief. I also enjoy pretty much all the basic bitch fall things. Pumpkin spice, sweaters, the holidays, fall leaves. I wish it could be autumn all year round.

Looking forward to a good lunch today. Boss is having a meeting so I'm going down the street to pick up BBQ for everyone, myself included. Free lunch and I don't even have to go to the meeting. Definitely worth taking a short jaunt.

I ordered BBQ Pork, Polish Sausage, and a side salad. Having to cut out the carbs as much as possible--doctor's orders. I've been doing surprisingly well with that over the past several weeks. Losing weight, and my clothes are even starting to feel a bit baggy.

I'm excited to start learning my way around Dreamwidth and Neocities. Even have a few ideas for some website projects.

Life's gonna feel weird without cohost. For a while, at least. But I'm glad I got to enjoy it while it lasted.

it's gonna take us time to work up a new rhythm. I hope we can get used to checking a wider range of sites. Cohost was good but perhaps it wasn't the best idea to depend overmuch on one social medium ~Chara

I'm basically just sticking to Dreamwidth for now. Using the feed to follow people on other sites and platforms. Once I feel like I've got things figured out here, I'd like to start buidling my neocities homepage.

probably a good instinct. one thing at a time! I'm slowly getting more used to Dreamwidth. how do you, like, "discover" people here exactly, we haven't figured out

Through tags, I think. User profiles and posts both have them. Also, it seems there are communities you can join, but I don't know much about it yet.
